It's not, actually. Every time a change in the phone comes out, the manufacturer has to make new cases to reach those new customers, necessitating new tools/molds/whatever (so more cost on their end). Any manufacturer would prefer that the same case worked for all iPhone4s because then they would only have to spend the manufacturing dollars once to reach a every iPhone4 customer. Plus, less confusion when people are buying cases.
So what you are telling me is: An iPhone 4 comes out and I buy a case. Incase makes $20. An iPhone 5 comes out the same size and I don't buy a case because I have an old one and Incase makes $0. How is that better for Incase exactly?

Well, it is almost time for a new iMac to be released, isn't it? (Or a Mac Mini, Mac Pro, or MacBook for that sake)
iX... At first you could think about the Roman Number 9. But as you all know, in the upper part of X, you can also find the Roman number V. So that makes 14 then. (IX + V)
Now, the iMac shipped in 1998, while now it's 2011. 13 years of difference. Almost fourteen. Coincidence? I think not. Maybe that's a hint from Apple?
Then you got Mac, with a capital M, and a lowercase a and c. In M you can find I, V, and I, which together make (IV + I) 5. In a you can find c and I, which totals in 11 (C+I). Then you got the c, which of course, just translates in 10.
5 + 11 + 10 equals 26. As much as all letters in the Roman (aka Latin) alphabet.
Which leads us to believe that we have not to count the Roman numbers, but just the Roman letters.
M is the 13th letter of the alphabet.
A is the first letter of the alphabet.
C is the 3rd letter of the alphabet.
TOTAL: 17.
Now we all know Apple's marketing. And you know that's a hint from the name in the title: MarketingName. Big words mean more to Apple than big numbers. Widgets are meant to get you in and out faster. Meaning if you want to just unlock you phone to click next on your media player you can unlock and not have to open an app but just click next.

Yeah. I'll be calling Brea tomorrow to vent, but I doubt that will get me anywhere.
And FWIW, most of the AT&T stores here in Fullerton/Brea didn't get any iPads. Makes you wonder how many of each model Apple actually got. Nobody seemed to be touching those Verizon iPads with a 10 foot pole.

umm, actually it's a well known fact that (a) consoles are always sold at a loss to entice customers, and (b) microsoft loses over $100 on each console sold.
they make up for this on the rather large profits made on games and licensing games for the platform...

If joe pc-user becomes joe mac-user, then macs wont be fun anymore :(
That said, i'd like to see market share go up in certain areas. A lot more scientists are switching (mostly switching back, after ditching around late 90s) these days.
It's hard to be an elitist mac user if you're no longer in the minority...

Apple, we all know the mouse is dead... stop wasting time coding mac apps to look like iPad apps and coding mac os to operate like iOS, just do the obvious: ditch the mac platform all together! Make larger iOS devices that allow for the manipulation of iOS apps in windowed form and there you go, desktop operating environment with iOS.

Not much actually. The console cost me $380, since I had some credit with Amazon. It comes with 2 controllers and the game, so a pretty good deal. Then my friend bought me the Legendary version of the game for $150. He is getting my old Elite and the copy of the game that came with the console in return. So, all told, it was only $380 for me, and I got a new Xbox, 2 controllers, the game, and all the extra stuff that comes with the Legendary version. I made out like a bandit :D
PERFECT! Now you can eat while you play! I really should have done mine this way.
I just put them there to take the picture before I unboxed everything. Though, a console in the kitchen would be pretty ace :p
P.S. - I just got the console setup. HOLY CRAP, the new small Xbox is dead silent. That will be so great.
